Back and Neck Pain
Does back pain stop you from participating in activities and enjoying life? Does your neck pain give you headaches? Does your back pain prevent you from being able to work? Does your neck or back pain stop you from sleeping at night? Has your back pain been around forever and is taking over your life?
Back pain is very common, with 80% of people experiencing it at least once in their lifetime – but that doesn’t mean it should get in the way of your lifestyle. Neck, upper back and lower back pain is treatable. We are experienced in helping people recover from back pain, whether the cause is related to an injury, surgery, disc, joints, muscles, arthritis, posture or stress.
We know back pain can really limit your ability to do everyday activities, including work, and it can dampen your mood and energy levels. We want to help you feel better and be able to participate and enjoy life. We also know the pain doesn’t always stop in the back – sometimes it goes up to the head, resulting in headaches or migraines, and sometimes it goes down the arms or legs.
Our physiotherapists use a combination of hands-on treatment and exercise therapy to treat your back pain. Research shows that this combination, along with advice, is the most effective way of treating acute back pain and preventing its reoccurrence.
